Configuration of the system
TopicWorx will in conjunction with the you define a catalog of noteworthy topics to collect and collate information against. A detailed breakdown of this catalog is used to configure the system and to build the category itemization required to align the information with.
The users of the system are identified and all relevant user names and passwords are being created after which the usernames is being linked to specific areas of interest within the itemized category structure.
The system is hosted in a secure facility and is accessed via Internet Explorer over the internet. No data is stored on the user’s PC. All information and attachments are stored in the system database on the central server.
It is important to note that this is a user only implementation. This implies that only the user has access to the information in this system based on usernames, passwords and associated system access roles and rights.
The user’s locality structure gets integrated in to the interactive mapping system; this structure is updated on a regular basis.
